Client: Blavou Services: Logo design | Branding | Web Design We were recently commissioned by Blavou to build and create an entire new ethos for the business focusing Web Design, Branding and Social Media integration. Awesome work guys, a superb website, perfect displaying the vision of the business. Thanks so much!”   In early 2015, Blavou launched a brand new business concept focusing on creating opportunities within the Wedding Industry. The business had the idea of taking on new photographers and helping them develop their business and eventually create leads within their marketplace. The company focus on creating an identity for each photographer increasing their awareness to brides and grooms. The company often aim to promote the businesses through wedding blogs such as Rock My Wedding and Brides Up North as they know the influence these fantastic blogs can have with helping both new and experienced photographers attract bride and grooms to their style of photography. So a little more information on the project we created for Blavou… The guys at Blavou set out very clear instructions when giving us the task of creating their new brand and identity. They were keen to ensure the brand was simple, crisp and clean cut while been designed in a similar fashion to the other businesses under their arm. Our initial aim was in creating a colour scheme and corporate identity. Our research showed that many organisations focus on keeping the form of simplicity within their logo design, businesses such as Topshop, Samsung and JP Morgan all rely on a simply text based logo when advertising their brands. While the guys at Blavou understand that they arent quite at the levels of Sir Philip Green yet they still appreciate the idea of modern simplicity. We created a simple off black and white typeface design that would be used in all marketing for the business moving forward. Next up was the Website Design. After looking at the initial logo design a decision was made to build a simple website that portrayed the styles created within the initial branding process. The website – http://blavou.co – was created as a simple 2 page set up that could be easily expanded and modified. Blavou aims to move into other market places rather than just photography so decided on keeping a minimal homepage with more relative content on each page. The photography page – http://blavou.co/photography will be used as the base for all future pages. Success Story – The creation of the new brand and website was very well received. Blavou now has up to 5 photographers signed up as a direct result of the website and are looking...

Client: Dumpling Design Services: Web design Sheffield | Business cards print Building a cool mobile phone game is fun. Coding a website for a cool mobile phone game is even better! We worked with Dumpling Design to create a landing page for their new game Dashy Crashy. Even better, they let us to have a try on this awesome game before launching! Wanted to drop a quick note to say A HUGE XIE XIE NI !!! I very much appreciate the work you’ve done and also pulling together materials for my requests.”   Dumpling Design first approach us in early 2014 and required some portraits photos as part their upcoming game Dashy Crashy‘s promotion campaign. It is a super fun and easy to play car racing game for iOS mobile phones. Their initial idea is to create a racing game that can be played using only one hand, gives the player great experience in just a few minutes time. It also allows the user to compete with their friends, unlock and collect new cars in the game. The company attended several game exhibition such as BAFTA Games,  Tokyo Indie Fest and Insomnia54, drew great attention to the game lovers. Some players compared it with Crossy Road and gave out great compliments. Originally, Dumpling guys only required photo shoot for their game’s loading page. Since they discovered our mutual love in gaming and geeks, after a few coffees this year they decided to upgrade the services to website design, stickers and business cards printing for both Dumpling Design and Dashy Crashy. Dumpling Design guys are familiar with printing and design, so they have given us very specific detail of print quality and colour. They required custom shape die cut of both business cards and stickers, making them into a unique dumpling shape. We then offered a super affordable price in Sheffield area with these special needs on printing. A bit of positive feedback – people love the stickers at game fairs! As for the website, Dumpling Design decided to go for a simple landing page which has all the links to their social media outlets, press kit etc, so they can simply focus on finishing the game and get it ready to launch. The brand of Dumpling is vivid and lively. So unlike other websites we built with the principle of engagement, we added a lot of fancy effects to “the world’s most complicated landing page”. We have background video headers on both computer and mobile version of the website, random background colours, creative hover bottoms and a loading page animation. The guys at Dumpling Design want to keep everything bite-sized so we made all the sections very simple with just...

Client: Children’s Day UK Services: Branding | Web Design Sheffield | Logo Design | Event Photogrpahy We were offered the chance as a Sheffield web design and PR agency to work with Sheffield-based social enterprise Youth Can Achieve to celebrate the first Children’s Day in the UK on 20th Nov. We crafted the website, design the brand and took some photos capture their first conference event. Thank you so much for your assistance with Children’s Day. The website is excellent!”   The project was started by Nikki Sharpe, the founder of Youth Can Achieve, an organisation set up to help vulnerable young people. During the research, Nikki found out that over 70 countries across the world including Brazil, China, Australia, Malaysia, Canada, Czech Republic and Thailand celebrate National Children’s Day on the 20th November every year. However, the United Kingdom refuses to recognise the day. There are 3.5 million children living in poverty in U.K today. That’s 27% of children. Youth Can Achieve believe a Nationally celebrated Children’s Day would make a real difference to the disadvantaged youth across the U.K while having a hugely positive effect on child poverty. The aim was clear – to let the country know about the campaign, get as many votes for the petition as we can and maximise the publicity. As for the style, Nikki gave us complete freedom on the branding and web design. Of course she was delighted with the outcome in the end. We developed an identity with a joyful and welcoming tone by contrasting illustrations and typography with a bold use of colour.  In order to create a brand for the project, we started everything from scratch, including designing the logo, coding the website, writing and sending out press releases, managing PR and social media pages and also taking photos at the conference. We picked red and yellow for the logo. Like McDonald’s colour scheme, it gives the audience a very energetic and happy feeling. Then we added green, purple and blue to the website, making the section clean and informative. Instead of crafting a multiple pages website, we kept everything simple and all information very easy to view on one page. In the end, Children’s Day UK had some high-profile backers such as NSPCC, UNICEF and Sheffield City Council. It showed up in both the print and online version of The Star and also attracted over 800 Twitter followers in less than two weeks. Below is a selection of the work created for the project.
